Honeywell C7027A1064 flame sensors are designed to detect ultraviolet radiation, which is usually emitted by a flame. These sensors are used with Honeywell flame monitoring systems to detect the presence of fire in gas, oil and combined burners.
Features and Specifications:
— Flame sensors C7027A1064/U are used with amplifiers R7249A, R7290A, R7749B and R7849A, B, as well as with the corresponding Honeywell control devices.
— The sensors are compact in size, so they are well suited for installation on purge pipes.
— When properly installed, they can be used at pressures up to 5 psi.
— It is possible to connect two sensors in parallel for cases when flame monitoring is difficult.
— Various models are available, designed for different temperature ranges from -18°C to +102°C or -40°C to +102°C, depending on the specific model.
— Electrical connections include two 6-foot-long [1.83 m] color-coded wires conforming to NEC Class 1. (One of the models comes with 24-foot-long [7.32 m] wires). There is also a clamping contact for a flexible metal conductor with a diameter of ½ inch.
— Additional details include a flange seal and UV reading tubes.
Spare parts include a flange seal, UV reading tubes and other elements for maintenance and replacement.
